In the past three years, EFCG  relentlessly strove to alert EU authorities on the need to address head-on the root causes of the supply tensions and shortages that are affecting Europe’s supply of medicines. We put forward several practical recommendations to

reverse the trend. Time is quickly running out and the EU must urgently move forward and implement the necessary measures. Only then can we turn the tide and ensure that Europe can depend on a robust, innovative and sustainable API industry that will guarantee citizens a safe, reliable and available access to their needed medicines.
