These include BPTF – the US Bulk Pharmaceuticals Task Force, IPEC – the International Pharmaceutical Excipients Council, and the organisation on pharma supply chain security.
In the last couple of years, we have further strengthened our relationship with those associations that represent manufacturers of agrochemical products and pharmaceutical final dosage forms – such as CropLife Europe, EFPIA, Medicines for Europe and continued to work hand in hand with APIC – the Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients Committee.
Our main mission is to ensure the highest quality and safety standards for active pharmaceutical ingredients and excipients in Europe. In order to achieve this objective, EFCG is in regular contact with national and inter-governmental bodies such as the European Commission, the European Parliament, the European Medicines Agency, the European Directorate for the Quality of Medicines (EDQM), the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the World Health Organisation (WHO), the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA), as well as Permanent Representatives of Member States in Brussels.
