In 2017, EFCG resumed its long-standing tradition of organising a Crop Protection Forum on the eve of the Chemspec exhibition. This very successful event featured as its speakers experts such as Dr Nigel Uttley, Managing Director, Enigma Marketing Research; Mike Carroll,  Global Regulatory Manager Fungicides, Arysta LifeScience;; Mr. Jean-Pilippe Azoulay, Director General ECPA, the European Crop Protection Association and Laurent Pichon, President of MEPI.  The forum concluded with a lively discussion between the panelists and the audience.

This year’s edition, the 9^th, of the forum has taken place in Cologne on June 19th and boasted a record attendance. The programme included presentations by Dr Notker Bien from Syngenta, Dr Matthew Phillips from AgBioInvest, Dr Andy Fowler from Plantimpact. and Mr David Norris from DNAL. After the forum, 170 guests joined the speakers, our members and their guests for our traditional annual summer party, one of the highlights of the Chemspec week, held this year at the famous Cologne Chocolate museum.
