The European Fine Chemicals Group (EFCG) is the forum of Europe’s manufacturers of active ingredients, intermediates, and excipients and other functional substances and their precursors. EFCG is a sector group of Cefic, the European Chemical Council.
As a data-driven, non-profit association, we bring a unique and trusted perspective to EU policy discussions, grounded in deep technical expertise and business acumen as well as a strong sense of responsibility toward patients, industries, and society.
Our position at the heart of complex value chains enables us to understand and articulate the realities faced both upstream and downstream, making EFCG a constructive, solutions-oriented partner for European institutions.
