EU Health Summit – Recommendations for a healthier Europe

25 Mar 2019

EFCG is a proud member of the coalition of associations behind the high-level EU health Summit that took place last November 29th in Brussels. This multi-stakeholder event, organised by the health community aimed to bring together European leaders, policy makers and health stakeholders to discuss how Europe could develop and take the lead in areas such as research and innovation, health data and digital health, healthcare organisation and financing as well as health in all policies.

The aim of the Summit is to distill recommendations for the next European Commission and European Parliament to bring the necessary changes about. To this end, the partner organisations have put together recommendations for a shared vision for the future of health in Europe, calling for the European Commission, in particular, to have the tools and governance in place, including at high level, for ensuring a health perspective in all their policies, thus ensuring a healthy future for Europe.

The key recommendations for a healthier Europe and the recommendations in full will be at the heart of the continuing work of the associations throughout the next years.
