The Board of Directors of the European Fine Chemicals Group (EFCG) have announced that the first EFCG Annual Dinner is to be held on the evening of Wednesday, 1st October 2008 at the InterContinental Hotel in Frankfurt.

This dinner has been specially created to bring together top management from the European Fine Chemicals industry to celebrate Europe's excellence in chemistry, technology and high compliance standards with their counterparts in the global innovator industries in a comfortable, first class location.

The after-dinner speaker will be Mr Stefan Borgas, CEO of Lonza, Switzerland

For confirmed bookings, which must be received before 1st August 2008:

Table for 10: €4500 (excluding VAT)

Single place: €475 (excluding VAT)

For bookings confirmed before 30th May, a 10% discount applies.

The ticket price includes:

• pre-dinner drinks, a four-course dinner and a generous wine and drinks package
• EFCG membership for 12 months (excludes existing EFCG members and any CEFIC fees)

Tickets are sold on a first come basis. As space is limited, you are encouraged to book early to avoid disappointment and to benefit from the available discounts.

A 15% deposit is required when GKV confirm the booking. The balance is due by 1st August 2008.

Cancellations will be subject to the following fees (% of total booking cost):

• Before 1st June: 15%
• From 1st June - 31st July: 35%
• From 1st August - 30th August: 70%
• From 1st September: 100%

A dinner booklet will be available at the event to include the names and affiliations of the attendees and their table location. This will provide an excellent opportunity for corporate advertising. Interested parties should include an expression of interest on their booking form. They will then be contacted to discuss their requirements.

The dress code is business attire. Men are required to wear a tie.
